Rainbow Baby Maternity Event Louisville KY | Jennifer Rittenberry Photography | www.jlritt.com

I’m so excited to share with you about the upcoming Rainbow Baby Maternity Event Louisville KY that I am hosting this weekend. I’ll be collaborating with The Wave Salon and Spa of Shepherdsville, KY on this event. We’ll both be donating our services to 7 lucky Rainbow Baby mommies that are currently pregnant with their Rainbow! A Rainbow Baby is the pregnancy after a miscarriage, still birth or infant loss. I originally set out to just bless one local mommy, but after all of the entries were coming in, I just couldn’t do only one! I decided to go with symbolism, so an invitation was extended to 7 mommies for the 7 colors of the rainbow.

I’ll be donating photography services to these lucky mommies! Each will go home with 8 digitals from the event, along with some awesome swag bags from amazing vendors that donated goods or coupons! The Wave Salon and Spa is going to donate mini makeovers, with hair stlying and makeup services, for each momma-to-be. These ladies will look great and feel great after their morning of being pampered. Below is just a little sneak peek of some of the awesome vendors that I have partnered with to make these swag bags brag-worthy!

Jennifer Rittenberry Photography is proud to announce that we now offer Kentucky Boudoir Maternity Photography in addition to the services that we already offer. Kentucky Boudoir Maternity Photography is a great way to show off your beautiful budding baby bump in a simple and elegant portrait session. These sessions take place in my Mount Washington Kentucky residential studio and usually take about an hour. I have a full closet of classic lace frocks and vintage dresses that you may use to style your session from my client wardrobe. This is just an extra perk for choosing my studio to create such gorgeous heirloom quality mementos from your pregnancy.

You may also choose to bring in some of your own undergarments if you wish to pose in a bra and panty set. I do not provide these to clients for obvious sanitary purposes. I recommend black and / or white and then a soft neutral set. Anything you can find with a bit of lace or texture will just add that much more beauty to your images.

You may also opt to do a more low key type of session and not show as much skin. I have several Free People and Dottie Couture oversized sweaters and tops on hand for your use as well.

Louisville KY Couples Maternity Photographer | Lindsey and DJ McPherson | www.jlritt.com

When my beautiful Barbie Doll of a cousin, Lindsey, announced that they were pregnant at Christmas Eve dinner this past year, you can imagine how over the moon that made this Louisville KY Couples Maternity Photographer with receiving this incredible news! They are due to have their baby boy on their one year wedding anniversary. I did their engagement photos last year and it’s hard to believe how fast time has flown by since we shot those. We had not one, but TWO Maternity sessions for her so we could capture every bit of this gorgeous baby bump that we could. This is the first of the two and took place May 24, 2016. We included her husband for this styled couples maternity session, which I loved being able to record the intimate connection they have with one another. I had to break DJ out of his shell a little, but as you’ll see in their images below, it wasn’t hard for them to show their excitement about their upcoming arrival! We photographed this portion at the newly opened section of Floyds Fork in the Broad Run Park section. Of course we shot during golden hour and caught some amazing sunlight!

Lindsey is wearing a fitted dress from Sew Trendy Accessories in Champagne that she chose from my Client Wardrobe. I have several beautiful maternity dresses available to all maternity clients that I work with. It helps relieve the pressure and stress of moms trying to find something to wear AND that makes you feel beautiful during your session. You can find the dress here.

This amazing boho chic vintage inspired lace dress is from Leah Maria Couture. It has quickly become a client favorite!

I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful mommy to be during her Maternity Session several weeks ago just outside of Louisville KY in Broad Run Park. Part of being a Louisville KY Maternity Photographer is seeing all of the beauty wrapped up in these mommies from their perfect little bumps, glowing skin and pure joy radiating from them. Danielle had all of these qualities and her session turned out amazing. If you remember back when I posted her sneak peek, I mentioned that she was gifted this session as part of my Mother’s Day giveaway on facebook and she was the lucky name to be drawn at random.

We started off in this soft pink dress by Sew Trendy Accessories and love that it turned out she was having a baby girl. That made this portion of her session so much sweeter. This dress was called the Leyah Gown and looks absolutely lovely on Danielle.

Once I was satisfied with the images in her pink gown, we changed Danielle into a gorgeous lace frock from Leah Maria Couture. This is one of my favorite dresses for so many reasons. First of all, it’s lace! Anything lacey and vintage looking is a winner in my book. Secondly, it is super feminine and romantic looking. And lastly, clients love it. Every momma wants to don this dress during her session and I can’t blame them. lol. This is just another perk of working with me as your Louisville KY Maternity Photographer; I keep a client closet stocked full of beautiful gowns for your exclusive use during our session. I have everything from simple boho chic dresses to exquisite long gowns.
