Over the Summer the Marti Family came to me in search of their Mount Washington KY Maternity and Newborn Photographer. They were looking for someone to capture their final stage of pregnancy and their new little girl that was on the way. This couple loved the simple clean images that they had seen on my website and wanted an array of elegant outdoor images for their maternity session.

Lauren chose to wear two of the dresses shown below from my wardrobe of maternity wear available to all of my clients. But can we talk about how her husband showed up dressed to the nines in his own personal tuxedo? I was blown away at the level of commitment he gave to the session, especially since it was the middle of the summer and really hot outside! This dad earns an award for his level of participation!

The first dress that Lauren wore was the Hera Gown from Sew Trendy Accessories. The second dress was an amazing Amazon find and can be found HERE – I have this dress in several colors, too. Shown in beige in our session, but I also have white, black and wine in the client closet!

Her final two dresses were from her own wardrobe and I really like that she added her own personal touch to the session!

Surprisingly enough, Lauren went into labor the very next day after our maternity session together and Vivienne made her way into the world a few months early. She went home after a stent in the NICU, but was healthy and able to proceed with her newborn session. Mom selected light and airy styling and wanted a touch of vintage mixed in. Vivienne looked so beautiful in all of her images, but unfortunately, her daddy wasn’t able to make it to the session due to some work emergencies. Life of being a dentist! 🙁
