The Way Family has been coming to me for several years now as their Shepherdsville KY Newborn Photographer and have had the pleasure of photographing their memories for two babies now. You can see images from Lily’s newborn session HERE from 2015; this is a session from when I still was working out of my home studio, too!

I wanted to do something a little different with their session post. I had Katherine “Kat” (the mom) to write a little blurb about their experience to share with you firsthand. I thought this would be a great way to see what repeat clients are saying about Jennifer Rittenberry Photography! I think it speaks volumes about a business if they can retain clients for years upon years; it says that they are providing a valued and quality product as well as a great overall experience – at least it does in my eyes.

Kat writes:

“While I was pregnant with our first child, I was searching online for a local photographer and stumbled upon Jennifer’s Facebook page and website. After reading her pages and looking at her work, I knew this was what I wanted our newborn’s pictures to look like. I decided to contact her, and the rest is history. She has been doing our family’s pictures now for over 3 years, 2 children later and we still love her work.

The photography experience with Jennifer is very comfortable and calming. Our first child’s pictures were taken in her home when she was still working there but our second child’s pictures were done in her new studio. Jennifer took that home-like feeling and setting from her home to her studio. It is beautiful!

Jennifer has the experience down to a science. She keeps the studio warm, has her “shoosher” machine going and white noise. All we had to do was feed our baby and she gave us instruction for the rest. She has all the information you need for your session on her website and even sends you the information via email prior to your session. She also communicates via text with reminders, suggestions about the props she will use and answers any questions you need.

My favorite part was watching her pose our newborn once they are full and sleepy. It is amazing the pictures she gets when it all comes together. My other favorite part is that she remembered the pictures from our first born’s session and tried to use props and colors to compliment those pictures. She knows our family so well now and makes every part of the photography experience like you are part of her family!”

I really appreciate all of the kind words that Kat shared with us on her experiences. I truly do feel like they are an extension of my own family with as many times that I have worked with them now.

Below are images from their session. We went with complimentary colors to their first child’s newborn session and even incorporated a few of the same props. I think this is a great way for images to flow nicely on client’s walls and build onto their growing collection of treasured memories.
