I know I’ve said it time and time again, but one of the best parts of being a newborn photographer is getting to meet the most wonderful clients from Mount Washington and Louisville KY metro areas!  BrieAnn had first contacted me in the spring of 2014 after reading a blog post on one of my mentors, Rachel Vanoven.  She had been inspired by the post and just wanted to reach out to me to thank me for the post.  I hadn’t written it for recognition, but it was so sweet that someone would do that after reading a short snippet from my timeline on this Earth.  That should have been my first indication as to how wonderful this woman was.

Fast forward to the spring of 2015.  BrieAnn was pregnant and on the hunt for a newborn photographer.  I hadn’t realized when she contacted me the year before that she was local to me!  Bonus! <3  She actually put me through a rigorous series of questions and sampling of galleries with lots of back and forth over a few months. lol!  After finally getting the call that she was ready to book, I was elated.  However, In the back of my mind, I kind of felt like the bar had been set a little higher on this session and needed to up my game for some reason. 🙂

The Schmidt family was in for a surprise though!  I had been dying to start offering Fresh 48 Sessions and now they had earned themselves a spot to be my guinea pig.  It worked out perfect!  Here’s a collage and slideshow from their Fresh 48.

Somehow I must have done something right because after her Fresh 48 and newborn sessions, she left the *sweetest* and most *heartfelt* review ever  on my Facebook page:

That is exactly why I do what I do.  Clients that get it.  Clients that understand why I take my time to meticulously pose their baby and to get the perfect shot.  Clients that appreciate the artwork that I am able to produce for them that will be classic and timeless on their walls.  Clients that want more than just a cheap price. Clients that just get “it”.
